Which purpose chapters the calculator actually opens

Five reading chapters share this stack, each on a single purpose id:

• Heaven task — sky point.
• Earth task — earth point.
• Life direction — personal purpose.
• Gift to people — social purpose.
• Wider spiritual theme — general purpose.

The engine also calculates a planetary point (social + general). It is stored with the other purpose numbers and used in the report payload. It does not have its own chapter in the 27, so this page includes the sum and does not invent a sixth reading card.

Where those headings come from on the octagram

Sky is built from the month-point B and the base D. Earth is built from the day-point A and the year-point C. Personal purpose is sky + earth. The male and female programmes (F+I and G+H) feed social purpose; personal + social become the wider spiritual theme. Highlighted below are the four outer points the stack starts from.

The purpose sums, from the same engine

• Sky = reduce(B + D) — heaven task.

Sky, earth, and the headings between them

Sky is the inner assignment: what the chart keeps returning to when nobody is paying you. Earth is how that assignment meets the world — style, work, the kind of development that happens in public. Personal purpose is the sentence those two make together. Social purpose is what a group receives. General purpose is the weather of the life, sitting above any single job.

Read them as a stack, not as five careers. A kind sky with a refused earth is a prayer that never becomes a Tuesday. A loud earth with no sky is a grind that cannot say why.

How each number reads as a heading

These lines are for purpose seats, not for the talent channel or the karmic tail.

1. 1 The Magician. Magician as a heading is “start something that other people can continue.” Sky work is the idea; earth work is the first hour. A purpose that only announces never becomes a path.
2. 2 The High Priestess. Priestess purpose is to bring a true reading into a public sentence. Inner knowing without a destination is a lamp, not a heading.
3. 3 The Empress. Empress purpose is circulation: grow it, then let it leave the house. Hoarding the harvest as a private kingdom is the heading inverted.
4. 4 The Emperor. Emperor purpose is a fair structure other people can inhabit. Authority that exists only to be obeyed has no earth task.
5. 5 The Hierophant. Hierophant purpose is a living syllabus — teach what you still test. Dogma as a life heading freezes both sky and earth.
6. 6 The Lovers. Lovers purpose is a chosen we: a partnership, a public, a table. Indecision dressed as keeping options open is not a direction.
7. 7 The Chariot. Chariot purpose is a destination worth the miles. Winning for the scoreboard is motion without a sky point.
8. 8 Justice. Justice purpose is cause and effect made visible. Scorekeeping as a vocation is the heading stuck in court.
9. 9 The Hermit. Hermit purpose is wisdom that returns to people. Research that never leaves the cave is a personal purpose that forgot the social one.
10. 10 Wheel of Fortune. Wheel purpose is to move with timing rather than against it. Waiting for fate to pick the job is stalling, not trust.
11. 11 Strength. Strength purpose is power used gently, repeatedly. Heroics that need a disaster are a purpose that cannot survive a quiet year.
12. 12 The Hanged Man. Hanged-Man purpose is service that does not erase the server. Martyrdom as a spiritual heading is still a rope.
13. 13 Death. Death purpose is to close chapters so a life can have more than one. Clinging, or breaking for sport, both miss the earth task.
14. 14 Temperance. Temperance purpose is a life in proportion — inner and outer in the same week. Extremes as identity leave no room for a path.
15. 15 The Devil. Devil purpose is to own appetite so it can feed a real work. Being owned by the appetite is a heading with no sky.
16. 16 The Tower. Tower purpose is honest renovation. Living from collapse to collapse is a crisis, not a spiritual task.
17. 17 The Star. Star purpose is to show the gift. Hiding it to stay safe, or inflating it into a brand, both miss the personal point.
18. 18 The Moon. Moon purpose is to aim imagination at a Tuesday that can happen. Fear-pictures as a life plan are a night film, not a direction.
19. 19 The Sun. Sun purpose is to make and warm without needing the whole room. Martyr-sun — give until collapse — is a heading that burns the house.
20. 20 Annunciation. Annunciation purpose is to live a different family sentence, not to argue the old one. Repeating the play with new actors is not a path.
21. 21 The Universe. Universe purpose is work at the size you were built for, kept kind. Expansion as avoidance of a postcode is still exile.
22. 22 Freedom. Freedom purpose is independence with a spine: choices, not exits. A life of clean vanishings has no earth task left to stand on.

Worked example: 14 March 1992

A = 14, B = 3, C = 21, D = 11, F = 17, G = 6, H = 7, I = 5.

• Sky = 14 (14 Temperance)
• Earth = 35 → 3 + 5 = 8 (8 Justice)
• Personal = 22 (22 Freedom)
• Female programme = 13; male = 22
• Social = 35 → 3 + 5 = 8 (8 Justice)
• General = 30 → 3 + 0 = 3 (3 The Empress)
• Planetary = 11 (11 Strength)

In the example the heaven task is Temperance (14), the earth task is Justice (8), personal purpose is Freedom (22), social purpose is again 8, the wider theme is Empress (3), and the planetary point is Strength (11). Using a heading without waiting for a calling

Write one sentence that uses sky and earth in the same breath: inner work, then a public hour. Do that hour this week. Then look at talents and the karmic tail — a purpose that ignores those two will sound noble and still repeat the old week.
